Technical.ly Delaware recently ranked the top 10 startups based in Newark.

Given Newark is home to the University of Delaware, it’s no surprise that many of these have some connection to UD, whether they were started by students or alumni or nurtured at UD’s Horn Entrepreneurship program.

Solar energy company SHIO and medical device maker TheraV made the list.
