When we asked small business owners in listening sessions across Delaware what they wanted to see from the new Division of Small Business, one of the things that came up most often was an online search tool to help them navigate through the hundreds of small business-related programs offered in Delaware.

They asked, and we listened.

The Division’s new website www.delbiz.com features the Business Resource Connection where small business owners can find the right help they need at the right time from 300 programs offered by more than 80 organizations from chambers of commerce, industry groups like Delaware Bio, community-based organizations like the Grow Delaware Fund and government agencies at the federal, state and local levels.

Small business owners can search for programs by location, company business stage, industry and specific need including access to capital, help with site selection, assistance with business planning, or operations.

They can also look for programs offering assistance to specific groups of small business owners such as women, minorities or veterans.

Or, connect directly with one of our five Regional Business Managers for one-on-one assistance. Each one covers a specific region of Delaware.

Our website is the place where you’ll find information about all of the incentive and tax credit programs the Division offers including the Angel Investor Tax Credit and the Opportunity Zones program.

The Division’s website also incorporates another feature small business owners said they wanted: a comprehensive, statewide calendar listening seminars, courses, networking opportunities and other events of interest to small business owners.
