U.S. News & World report says Delaware is among the 10 best states in the nation for business, coming it at No. 6.

In determining which states offer the best environment for business, the magazine looked at a number of factors including the patents issued per capita, tax burden and rate of new business formation.

The magazine also noted the large number of major corporations incorporated in Delaware — more than 60 percent of Fortune 500 firms are incorporated in the state.
