Delaware small businesses to benefit from new lender partnership


Small business owners in Delaware will have access to additional types of business loans and services under a new partnership among three nonprofits announced this week.

Under the partnership among West End Neighborhood HouseSeedcoDE and FINANTA, Delaware small business owners will have access to the following financial products, according to a news release from the three organizations:

  • Entrepreneurial loans of as much as $100,000 through FINANTA, including loans as low as $1,200 to help business owners build credit
  • Small business loans from $100,000 to $4 million through West End Neighborhood House and its Grow Delaware Fund, and
  • Small Business Administration section 504 loans of $300,000 to $12 million from SeedcoDE

“West End has long supported lending programs for affordable home ownership, and we are thrilled to also support affordable business ownership and mentorship through this new partnership,” West End Neighborhood House Executive Director Paul Calistro said in the release. “This provides previously underserved business owners the boost they need to start and grow their own businesses.”
