DE.CO, billed as Wilmington’s first food hall, holds ribbon cutting

Wilmington’s small business scene expanded Wednesday as Buccini/Pollin Group and Baltimore’s Seawall Development held a ribbon cutting for their DE.CO food hall.

Located on the first floor of the DuPont Building at 10th and Orange streets, DE.CO features the DECO Bar and eight restaurant stalls, including a Pop-Up space that will be home to different chefs on a short-term basis.

Customers will order their meal from one of the eight stalls and sit in a common seating area that seats 200.

About 100 people will work at DE.CO.

Here’s a list of the range of food offerings you’ll find:

  • Al Chu’s Sushi
  • Connie’s: chicken and waffles
  • Phubs: pho and banh mi subs
  • Pizzeria Bardea: artisan pizza and salad from Wilmington’s Bardea Food & Drink
  • Spark’d: creative pastry and coffee
  • Stripp’d: acai, smoothies and clean eating
  • The Pop-Up: BBQ from Wilmington’s Locale BBQ Post
  • The Veranda: Indian street food

Check out the DE.CO website for more information.
