Delaware Innovation Space has named MCET Technologies and Veramorph winners of the DuPont FastPass competition.
The two startup companies will receive a year of free laboratory and office space at the Delaware Innovation Space at the DuPont Experimental Station research facility outside Wilmington. The two companies will also be able to get advice from experts at DuPont and the Delaware Innovation Space.
MCET Technologies, which was spun out from the University of Delaware Center for Composite Materials, develops fabrics with imbedded sensors and electronics to enhance sports training, among other uses.
Veramorph, a pharmaceutical technology company, came from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
