Apply for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses entrepreneurship course

Apply for Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses program.

Goldman Sachs is offering another series of training classes for small business owners starting May 8 at the Community College of Philadelphia.

The 14-week 10,000 Small Businesses course is part of a national initiative supported by Goldman Sachs with curriculum developed by Babson College, to teach small business owners, provide them with access to capital and introduce them to a network of advisors and peers.

Sandy Taccone, co-owner of Blue Blaze Associates, a Newark, Delaware-based strategic marketing and design firm, (pictured at left in photo) recently completed the course.

“The 10,000 Small Businesses program has been an inspirational and transformative learning experience,” Taccone said in a news release. “I can wholeheartedly say this program is brilliantly designed, and I’m a better business owner for it. But most importantly, I came away with a practical and actionable growth plan that will move Blue Blaze forward in the future.”

The course is open to the owners of small businesses open at least two years with revenue of more than $150,000 in the most recent fiscal year.

More than 8,000 businesses, including 10 from Delaware, have completed the program since 2009.

Apply for the program online.

The application deadline is Feb. 5.
