We are pleased to kick off our 2022 Chamber Leadership series with Doneene Damon, the first Black woman president of Delaware law firm—Richards, Layton & Finger. In addition, her extraordinary leadership includes co-chair of the firm’s Business Department and chair of the Corporate Trust and Agency Services Group.

Considered “terrific” and praised as “experienced, careful, smart and very personable” (Chambers USA), in 2021 alone Doneene was named among the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Diversity Leaders in Business, the News Journal’s Most Influential Delawareans, Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Black Lawyers, and a Women, Influence & Power in Law Managing Partner of the Year.

Join us as Doneene shares the story of her personal leadership journey. She will also offer her perspective on diversity, equity and inclusion and how the business community can lead the conversation on building a better culture of inclusion in Delaware.
