About this Organization

Sussex County (pop. 225,000) is strongest in two of Delaware's largest industries - agriculture and tourism. The eastern part of the county borders the Atlantic Ocean and offers world class resort communities such as Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Bethany Beach. The western part of the county is known for agriculture - everything from raising and processing chickens to growing corn and soybeans.


Programs

A team of advisors who assist entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate permits and regulations
Provides financial assistance in the form of low interest loans, grants, graduated tax abatement, and fee reductions
Five grants of $5,000 each to "second-stage" businesses located in Sussex County. The selected companies will also receive an information analysis in areas including innovation, market dynamics, qualified sales leads and core strategies
