UCEDIT aims to improve every day understanding of the state's economy while providing small business development programs and international trade initiatives for small to mid-sized enterprises in Delaware. The center focuses on researching trends in the state's economic development, workforce, and public policy, which is passed on to the businesses they serve.

Programs

ACCESS Accelerator

The center provides technical assistance in the form of legal services and the creation of a virtual accelerator. Accelerators use repurposed buildings in the Milford, DE area

Delaware State University's Academic-Industry Manufacturing Alliance (AIMA)

By providing small businesses with access to research, this program helps companies create successful manufacturing processes. This program is a partnership between small business owners in Kent and Sussex counties and Delaware State University faculty/ student organizations

Food Innovation District (Kent County)

The Food Innovation District aims to support Kent County's agro-businesses by supplying them with economic research, training, new technology and resources

Small Business Website Initiative

The Small Business Website Initiative assists business owners from Kent and Sussex counties with their online presence through a seven week training course, "How to Make Your Business Successful Online." The program will also create and establish the website for selected small businesses.
