Downtown Dover sees retail boom


Downtown Dover is experiencing a retail boom, with four new stores opening and another moving to a larger location, the Delaware State News reports.

Here are the most recent changes to the city’s downtown retail scene, according to the newspaper:

  • Sweets & Treats bakery opened at 147 S. Governors Avenue.
  • Tina’s Timeless Threads, which sells vintage clothing and record albums, opened at 111 W. Loockerman Street.
  • Sold Out Sneakers opened at 305. W. Loockerman Street.
  • That Ish Boutique opened at 235 W. Loockerman Street.
  • In addition, The Wedding Boutique, relocated to 125A W. Lockerman Street.
