Delaware is among the top 10 states in the U.S. as a location for starting an IT solution provider business, a new study finds.

Delaware ranks No. 9 in the report by CRN magazine, which analyzed a variety of factors including: labor costs, workforce, taxes and regulation, cost of living, entrepreneurship and business climate.

Delaware was the No. 1 state on several measures:

• highest average peak internet speed
• least prone to natural disasters
• number of patents issued per 1,000 private sector workers (adjusted for industry mix)
• sales tax (Delaware doesn’t have one!)
