Thank you to all of the businesses who participated in the COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards program! The program is no longer active. 

As the Division of Small Business, along with Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long and the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, listened to business owner feedback during 11 virtual town halls , one of the takeaways was that businesses are worried about customers feeling comfortable coming into their establishments.

DSB looked for a way that businesses could provide customers with an additional level of confidence. Based on the general guidelines for all businesses, the Division of Small Business along with the Division of Public Health developed the COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards.

Businesses following the Standards were eligible to receive a free front adhesive window sticker (click here to view) to put at their front entrance – one per location – as a way to show customers that they were working to follow the State’s safety guidelines.
