More information on the state's response to COVID-19's impact on small businesses More Info
As the Division of Small Business, along with Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long and the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, listened to business owner feedback during 11 virtual town halls , one of the takeaways was that businesses are worried about customers feeling comfortable coming into their establishments.
DSB looked for a way that businesses could provide customers with an additional level of confidence. Based on the general guidelines for all businesses , the Division of Small Business along with the Division of Public Health developed the COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards.
Businesses following the Standards can get a free front adhesive window sticker (click here to view) to put at their front entrance – one per location – as a way to show customers that they are working to follow the State’s safety guidelines.
The COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards is a voluntary, self-reporting program. Limitations apply. See below for how to participate and what business owners will need to send to business@delaware.gov to get the cling.

**If your business has multiple locations, and you have put the COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards in place at each of them, please note that in your email. This way the Division can send you the appropriate number of clings.**
