About this Organization

SCORE is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to both educate entrepreneurs and help small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. The Delaware chapter of SCORE was one of the first, and has been serving entrepreneurs in the state of Delaware and nearby areas ever since. DE Score has more than 40 local volunteer counselors who help small business owners through an on-going relationship. In addition, a number of business workshops are provided to assist new and developed entrepreneurs in establishing their business model.

Programs

Mentor Program

DelawareSCORE mentors are typically volunteer business professionals who can deliver advice on opening new markets and reaching new customers. The program is free and confidential, offering advice online and in person. Local and national workshops and social media networks are also provided.

Simple Steps for Growing Your Business

Through the programs four components, free business assessments, free mentoring, workshops and roundtables, entrepreneurs will focus on specific areas of potential growth

Simple Steps for Starting Your Business Program

A 5-workshop program taught by seasoned entrepreneurs that reviews the fundamentals required for starting a small business
