About this Organization

America's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a nationwide small business assistance network composed of almost 1,000 service centers located throughout all 50 states and US territories. The SBDC is hosted in each state by the state's leading universities or colleges, and state economic development agencies and is funded in part through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. In Delaware, the SBDC is housed in the University of Delaware’s Office of Economic Innovation and Partnerships. The Delaware SBDC provides free in-person business consulting services as well as low-cost training services in the areas of writing business plans, accessing capital, marketing, regulatory compliance, technology development, and international trade. The goal of the SBDC is to assist new entrepreneurs in their pursuit of their dream of business ownership and to assist existing small businesses with remaining competitive in a complex global economy
