State agency that operates the Downtown Development District program which offers rebates for qualified projects in Delaware’s Downtown Development Districts.


Programs

A loan program funded by non-profit partner Cinnaire, in which projects approved as part of the DDD program are funded by private loans up front before DDD grant money is disbursed when the project is completed
Grants provided by DSHA to mixed-use and commercial facilities for expansion, rehabilitation, or upgrade within designated DDD boundaries.
Provides below market rates for energy efficiency audits and also provides rebates for energy efficiency upgrades for mixed use buildings (buildings with both residential and commercial uses).
Funded through the Delaware Division of Small Business, the program is designed to provide financial assistance to DE downtown businesses following the 2008 financial crisis. It provides funding for local governments, nonprofit and community organizations, neighborhood revitalization, and other economic development programs
A grant to cover third party costs for meeting U.S. Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver certification for commercial and mixed-use buildings
