About this Organization

Energize Delaware connects businesses (and other energy consumers) with resources to help them reduce their energy usage, save money and improve the environment. Its programs help businesses develop and implement energy-efficient solutions along with clean energy and air pollution-reduction. Opportunities are available to new construction projects, the rehabilitation of existing buildings, transportation projects and innovative technologies.

Programs

This program provides an important first step for nonresidential property owners to reduce their energy costs. Professionals evaluate a building’s heating, cooling and electrical systems then identify ways to improve the building’s performance and produce a detailed report of findings with recommended upgrades.
The fund provides incentives to help businesses install high-efficiency natural gas heating and water heating equipment, lighting and controls, vending improvements and more.
Loans from $25,000 to $2 million are available for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
