The New Castle County Office of Economic Development is now accepting applications for its new First Founders Accelerator program.
The course is a collaboration between the county and local entrepreneur Garry Johnson III.
The 12-week course is a boot camp for New Castle County residents from underrepresented communities who want to learn how to build a scalable small business. Participants will work with experienced business mentors, including Ken Anderson, Northern New Castle County Regional Business Manager for the Delaware Division of Small Business.
The program will meet on 12 consecutive Saturdays from Feb. 9 through April 27.
