In partnership with the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, Interise has brought their nationally recognized, award-winning, and impact driven business growth program to Delaware. EnrichDelaware! is the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce’s Minority Business Initiative, powered by Interise’s award-winning StreetWise ‘MBA’™ curriculum. This hands-on program provides the knowledge and know-how business owners need to create (and manage) a customized, three-year strategic growth plan.This seven-month program will begin in October 2021 and end in March 2022, and will take place every other week in a Covid-safe in-person location. This FREE program, valued at $15,000, is being provided for you by the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, so that you can grow and sustain your business. Click here for more information.
In 2019, businesses who graduated from an Interise program experienced the following business achievements:

  • 64% of alumni businesses increased or maintained their annual revenues, with an average annual revenue growth of 21%.
  • 80% of alumni businesses reported being profitable.
  • $526 million in government contracting secured by alumni businesses.
  • 67% of alumni CEOs stay connected to fellow participants, with 32% doing business with each other.
  • 63% of alumni businesses added or retained jobs.

Eligibility

Business owners are welcome to apply who;

  • Business is located in Delaware and has a Delaware State Business License.
  • At least $125,000 in annual revenues.
  • One other employee besides the owner(s).
  • Been in business for at least 3 years.
  • Willingness and ability to attend a 7-month course, complete mandatory assignments, and complete program surveys as requested.
  • Space is limited to 20 business owners, to ensure an intimate setting for participants to share details about their businesses and learn from one another. Participants quickly learn that while markets and details differ from company to company, small business owners often share a common set of challenges and opportunities.
