Cornerstone West CDC coordinates the West Side Grows Together neighborhood revitalization initiative on Wilmington's West Side and works with the small business community, specifically through: supporting current businesses assisting new businesses with opening, and making the West Side a destination to dine, shop and live
The Security Camera Program provides grants to businesses within the West Side to install security camera systems for 100% of the total cost of eligible new or upgrades to security camera systems, including cameras, recording equipment, and installation, for a maximum reimbursement of $1,800.
West Side Corridor Revitalization Fund grant program offers up to $10,000 each for eligible small business owners and developers whose projects contribute to Wilmington’s West Side community's economic revitalization. Eligible applicants include small businesses, landlords, and developers with properties or businesses located between I-95/Jackson Street to Union Street (east to west), and 7th Street to Lancaster Avenue (north to south).
